The fall weather is wonderful for being on the Bay and the fishing is good also. If you’re looking for an excuse for an outdoor adventure I can’t think of anything any better than chartering the Bay Quest! See below for available charter info. As always, TIGHT LINES! Capt. Dave
If you can only go fishing on the weekends I’ve got some available, as well as, weekdays. Weekends open for fishing in the Bay –Oct. 21, 28, Nov. 4, 25, Dec. 15 & 29. Ocean Striper weekend dates: Jan 6, 12,13,20, 26 & 27. Striped Bass(Rockfish) season is in(2 fish per person) and bluefish, trout, & puppy drum are still here also. Call or email to charter your group. Prices for charters are listed on website also.
This past week was wonderful–cooler temperatures and calm seas. The Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School used the Bay Quest as a floating classroom. The Environmental Science instructors do a fantastic job and the students are always so bright and eager to learn. It’s something I look forward to each year. On our fishing charters we are still having good catches primarily of Bluefish with an occasional Mackerel and Red Drum.
This past Sunday was a super fantastic day. We caught Red Drum, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Rockfish, and our limit of Bluefish. I don’t think you could ask for any more action. Both the weather and the fishing are great in the fall so give me a call to set up your charter. Starting in October it’s Striped Bass prime time through January so if you can only go on a weekend I would suggest that you make your reservations now. Tight lines, Capt. David
